What's collected

Your name, email address, and optionally phone number and mailing address, plus what you tell me about your drive. These are used to quote, track, and return your repair or to pay for drives you sell. They're never sold or shared, except with a shipping carrier or payment provider as needed to send things to you.

Your data

Files on a drive sent for recovery are accessed only as needed to recover and verify them. Working copies are securely erased once you confirm you've received your data. Drives sold or donated for research are not examined for their content and are destroyed after use.
